макс роар KRU Academy is a vocational college specializing in skills related to the Creative Industry. We aspire to cultivate innovation and creativity, improve skills and increase the amount of local talents in Malaysia.

  • November : Registration of KRU Academy.
  • April : Started operations at Knowledge Workers Development Centre (KDC), Cyberjaya supported by Department of Skills Development (JPK), Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) & Multimedia University (MMU)
  • June : Officially launched by Y.A.Bhg Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia’s 4th Prime Minister
  • July : Accredited by JPK as Certified Training Centre
  • July : Announced Corporate Social Responsibility named as “Kreatif X Press” launched by Y.A.B. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia
  • September : Accredited by Toon Boom Animation (Canada) as Certified Training Centre for 2D Animation
  • October : First intake of students for Skills Malaysia Certificate programs
  • October : Organized “Kreatif X Press” in 8 secondary schools throughout Peninsular Malaysia (attended by 3,000 students)
  • April: Second intake of students for Skills Malaysia Certificate programs
  • May : Organized first Convocation at KDC, Cyberjaya
  • May : Organized “Kreatif X Press” in 20 secondary schools throughout Malaysia (attended by 7,000 students)
  • July : Accredited by Ministry of Education as a Certified Private College for the Creative Industry
  • August : Moved campus to Street Mall 2, Cyberjaya
  • August : First intake of students for Vocational Diploma programs
  • January : Organized second Convocation at KRU Academy, Street Mall 2
  • January : Second intake of students for Vocational Diploma programs
  • July : First intake of students for Skills Malaysia Diploma program
  • July : Approved by Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commissions to offer partial scholarship to eligible students
  • September : Approved by Yayasan Bank Rakyat to offer partial scholarship to eligible students
  • October : Approved by FELDA to offer partial scholarship to eligible students
  • October : Second intake of students for Skills Malaysia Diploma program
  • January : Third intake of students for Vocational Diploma programs
  • January : Approved by Perbadanan Tabung Pembangunan Kemahiran to offer study loan to eligible students
  • February : Won “Best Participating Company” Award by MDeC under MOHR-ILB program

PHILOSOPHY

как да ми стане по голям KRU Academy courses are project-based and are conducted in a simulated production atmosphere. Apart from mastering the application of software for specialized skills, we aspire to sharpen the creative minds of our students and achieve the highest level of discipline expected of a true professional. Gain insights from our panel of advisors (and may be potential employers) on the industry practices, profession and tips invaluable to both beginners and experienced. During the course, practical classroom projects and weekly homework assignments are used to slowly build students’ skill and confidence to be ready for employment in the shortest period of time.

OJT at KRU Academy is an on-going hands-on training in the actual work environment at KRU Studios using equipment, tools, software, hardware, documents and materials used by industry professionals.

PBE learning introduces methods and technology used in the production of content in the Creative Industry. This method combines the practical approach and mentorship guidance during the production for content to become ready for commercialisation.
